How can you make money selling them? Where do you find digital books to sell?
An eBook is an electronic book that can be sent via the web. In other words you can email someone a digital ebook in seconds completely free. This is a powerful concept because it is so easy and immediate.
Also, once you have bought a digital eBook that has resell rights, you can resell it over and over again! So, you pay once and profit forever more. Nice way to earn...
You can sell them in a number of ways: I sell them on eBay and a website and both work well. I think eBay works better initially because you have a ready market of buyers.
This is a great option because you can promote things you want to sell via your books, and if you grant resell rights then everyone will be selling your books for you, called viral marketing. You may prefer to not give resell rights and charge more for your eBook. Basically, it depends whether you want to make a lot on each sale, or a little off lots of sales with profit also coming from whatever else you promote in the ebook. For instance, some people write an excellent eBook, on say how to have success with Google Adwords and people happily pay hundreds of dollars because the information is very valuable to them. Why? Because it enables the reader to make a lot of money online. Someone else could write a digital ebook about how to bake cakes which may not have such a market value. If within the book they give a link to their website where they sell kitchen/baking equipment then they will probably be happy to give the book away as a great way of promoting their website. So, you need to weigh up which is best for you, or do both.
You can buy them cheaply on eBay and you can also buy ready made ebook websites. You need to know how to add payment buttons and upload to the web for this though, so if you are a total newbie, start by selling individual books on eBay. You can get software to send the books out automatically (see banner below, this is what I use, it's excellent) and once you have created your listings on eBay, you are ready to earn while you sleep!
