People simply buy in product and get lots of others to do the same. Everyone ends up with a garage full of 'stuff' and a few unscrupulous people make some short-term money. One downside is that you could put in loads of time and have the mlm company go bust on you. It's happened to people I know.

Another is that some mlm companies payment plans are top heavy. ie. they are geared to rewarding those who get in early and rise to the top, but they don't reward everyone else enough. If you are sponsoring this means your people may not stick at it long because they aren't seeing rewards.

Another downside is that the payment structure may put you under a lot of pressure because you are required to maintain a high volume just to keep your position in the marketing plan.

The interesting thing about an MLM business opportunity work home is that you can earn an income that bears no relation to the amount of time you put into it.

In other words, you are not restricted to being paid an hourly rate as you are in most jobs. You can leverage your time by helping others to be successful.

So, you can, in time, earn a great income even if you have only a few hours a week.

That is because you can build your own team and earn a commission on all the business you have helped them create. They in turn can build their own team so they too can earn as much or more than you.

I joined an MLM company over 13 years ago on a very part-time basis around my design job. I had no previous experience and didn’t really understand what I was doing!

However, I could see that I had my hands on an incredible opportunity and my excitement about the possibilities drove my business forward.

I saw that my MLM business could enable me to leave my job (I was stressed out) and move to the coast and work from home.

I achieved all that many years ago, and today enjoy a passive income ie. The income comes in whether I work or not. It’s like a pension really, but the great thing is, I’m only in my early 40’s.

The income from this gives me choices and total freedom.

Network Marketing is an ideal business for you if you are self-motivated and want a business for the long-term.

It’s not a get rich quick scheme and you have to stick at it to be successful. I have seen many people jump in and then jump out again. They didn’t want to put in the necessary work to get their business off the ground.

It’s a very rewarding business as you are helping others and mixing with like-minded people. Plus you are your own boss.

There is no upper limit to what you can earn which I find very inspiring.
