It’s very simple to get started. Simply log onto whichever ebay address is appropriate for your country (you can sell in any country and obviously the USA has a big audience). So, for the USA site it’s www.ebay.com For the UK site it’s www.ebay.co.uk and so on.

Open a free account which only takes a few minutes. Ideally open a paypal account too so that you can accept payments online. You could lose customers and sales if you don’t offer this option.

In this day and age who wants to bother writing and mailing a check when they could simply click a few buttons and pay online? Plus, you are more likely to actually receive the payment if it’s online.
